ASI Quality Program

Quality Program Overview

At Automatic Systems, we know quality is a multi-faceted process, which must involve the entire organization to be truly effective. ASI's quality program includes engineering quality control tools, verification and documentation of manufacturing and installation quality, start-up support tools, maintenance manuals, preventative maintenance instructions, and more.

ASI's Quality System was certified to the ISO 9001-1994 and QS 9000/TE standards in November of 1998 and recertified in September of 2001, 2004, 2007 thru 2009 by TÜV Management Service of North America.

ASI was certified to ISO 9001:2008 by Verisys Registrars on October 12, 2009, certification being valid thru November 1, 2012. Surveillance audits will be conducted thru 2012.

ASI's Environmental System was certified to ISO 14001 in October of 2001 and recertified in 2004 and 2007 thru 2009. Surveillance Audits are conducted for 14001 annually. "We will maintain and continue to improve this program. But we have determined the benefits of this program come from the processes and people involved, not from the outside certification. As a result, we will allow our ISO 14001 certification to lapse while maintaining all of our internal environmental programs and policies. This change allows us to focus resources on the important part of the program - the policies, procedures and awareness that are now part of our culture at ASI", says Michael Hoehn, President of ASI.
